Air Fryer Steak Fajitas

Recipe By: @fooddolls

🌮 Fun Fact: Everything cooks together in one air fryer basket, so the vegetables pick up all those steak-and-fajita-seasoning juices while they soften.

What You’ll Need

Steak + Veggies
  1. ½ lb flank, sirloin, or skirt steak, thinly sliced

  2. ½ red onion, sliced

  3. ½ red bell pepper, sliced

  4. ½ green bell pepper, sliced

  5. ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced

Seasoning
  1. 1 tbsp olive oil

  2. 1 tbsp fajita seasoning

  3. 3 garlic cloves, minced

For Serving
  1. Warm tortillas

  2. Lime wedges

  3. Sour cream, avocado, cilantro, or your favorite taco-night toppings

Step By Step

1️⃣ Heat Things Up
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3–5 minutes.

2️⃣ Slice It Thin
  1. Cut the steak, onion, and peppers into thin, similarly sized strips so everything cooks quickly and evenly.

3️⃣ Season Everything
  1. Add the steak and vegetables to a bowl with the olive oil, fajita seasoning, and minced garlic. Toss until everything is evenly coated.

4️⃣ Load The Basket
  1. Spread the mixture in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; work in batches if your basket is small.

5️⃣ Air Fry
  1. Cook at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the vegetables are tender and the steak reaches your preferred doneness.

6️⃣ Taco Time
  1. Pile everything into warm tortillas and finish with lime, avocado, sour cream, cilantro, or your favorite taco-night toppings.

Twenty minutes. One basket. Taco night without the skillet situation. We’ll take it.
